ALPI

The machines of the ALPI model are innovative, flexible, and have high productivity rates.

coil punching machines alpi line

Produtech automatic machines stand out on the market as innovative, highly productive and flexible metal punching solutions. The ALPI line is one of the most high- speed, positioning precision and with an absence of backlashes and wear coil puncher among the Produtech's machinery.

On this page, we will present you the three ALPI’s models offered by Produtech:

The ALPI series

The ALPI machine presents three series, all with different tonnage, for better satisfying the needs of the different productive sectors: ALPI ESA, DECA, and VENTI.

ALPI ESA

The ALPI ESA machine has 5 tons of power, a maximum working thickness of 1.5 mm, a maximum working width of 1500 mm, and supports a maximum of 6 working tools. Is the ideal line for insulation, thinsmithery, and ducts production fields. The machine is designed to cut complex parametric shapes forming curves with sectors, clutches, hoppers, and dished ends.

ALPI DECA

The ALPI DECA machine has 10 tons of power, a maximum working thickness of 3 mm, and a maximum working width of 1500 mm. It supports up to 8 working tools in stations A, B, and C, running with fast automatic change (less than one second) controlled by the machine CNC.

ALPI VENTI

The ALPI VENTI machine supports 20 tons of power, has a max working thickness of 4 mm, and a maximum working width of 1500 mm. This model is the top-of-the-range among Produtech’s punching technology. It can be installed in a working environment where high productivity and extreme usage flexibility are necessary.

How the ALPI machines work

Through the interpolation of all the machine movements (i.e. sheet advancement, transversal motion of the working units, tools holder rotation, and control over hammer position), any shapes or geometric figures can be cut out of the coil, both in the case of metal materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum) and other materials (PVC, nylon, Teflon). There are no limits in the production of holes, slots, and notches, which are carried out by means of one tool in case of processes with reduced dimensions or nibbling in case of processes with large dimensions.

Also, the processed parts can be marked with logos, and it is possible to make deep-drawing, air vents, ribs (even curvilinear, by means of suitable wheel-tools), small beads, and references for folds. All the processes - including cutting - are made with mechanical tools that do not produce fumes or incandescent scraps, so they do not affect superficial finishing or any potential protective films on the processed materials. All tools rotate and are operated by a hammer.

The hammer is run by a reliable latest-generation mechatronic system providing high positioning precision with reduced electric power: thanks to this device, ALPI confers to the punches only the necessary strength for cutting the material, with high energy savings and accuracy (few hundredths of a millimeter) while positioning tools.

Last, linear and torque motors assure high speed, positioning precision, and absence of backlashes and wear, as well as minimum maintenance: all these factors are fundamental in order to keep perfect punch&die match.

Why choose the ALPI machines?

The evolution of technology let us make exceptionally efficient and fast punching machines. What sets them apart is the ability to work from coil, with no waste of time or materials. ALPI machines can work continuously for days without the need for reloading and allows you to greatly speed up production processes. You'll be able to save a lot of space because you won't need to cut sheet metal, while coil costs are much less than cut sheet metal.
