A sheet metal profiling machine turns a flat blank into a working part: stiffer, finished at the edge, ready to assemble. Produtech offers these machines to work alongside its coil-fed lines, so profiling can become the final step of one flow that starts from the raw coil.

The range covers two technologies: TRIS beading and hemming machines for edges and beads, and the AC Bend electric panel bender for bent profiles, boxes and radius bends.
Unlike roll forming lines, which shape a continuous strip into long profiles such as roof panels or studs, Produtech profiling works on the single part cut from the coil.

TRIS sheet metal beading machines give parts strength and a clean finish: beads, edges and hems on iron, aluminium, copper and stainless steel, with three forming units on a single machine. Single-phase power makes TRIS as practical on a construction site as in the workshop.
| Technical data | TRIS |
|---|---|
| Forming units | 3 |
| Power supply | Single-phase 220 V, 50 Hz |
| Drive | Gearmotor with frequency converter |
| Roller speed | 10 to 180 rpm, variable |
| Max workable thickness | 1 mm |
| Roller projection | 100 mm |

When the profile is a bend rather than a bead, AC Bend takes over. This CNC sheet metal forming machine shapes flanges, boxes, profiles, radius bends and negative bends at high speed, even on complex geometries, and can be installed in line with Produtech coil-fed machines: parts cut from the coil are bent in the same flow and leave the plant as finished components.
| Technical data | AC Bend |
|---|---|
| Max bending length | 3000 mm |
| Max bending height | 300 mm |
| Bending thickness | 0.5 to 4 mm |
| Drive | Electric |
Profiling is where a part takes its final form, but most of its cost is decided earlier, by the material it comes from. Starting from the coil changes the numbers of the whole cycle.
Precision comes from machine design: parallel rollers set the working depth on TRIS, CNC axes and CAD-CAM programming drive every bend on AC Bend. Flexibility comes from standard, interchangeable tooling. Continuity comes from automation: Produtech lines run without constant operator supervision, and since 2025 the AutoCOIL system changes coils automatically during production, removing one of the most laborious and dangerous manual operations, especially with thicker material.
Profiled sheet metal is everywhere a component has to combine rigidity with low weight. Produtech coil-fed lines work in Italy and abroad for:
Founded in 1993 in Bergamo, Italy, Produtech builds sheet metal processing lines fed directly from the coil. Profiling machines complete this range:
